Hotel Pension Uhland goes green

To protect the environment is very important. Thats why we have implemented quite a lot of procedures to go green:

• All electrical geysers have been replaced by solar-water-heaters
• All cleaning chemicals are 100% bio degradable
• Waste is avoided as much as possible (for example no wrapped items at the breakfast buffet, recycable bottles instead of tins for drinks etc)
• Rubbish is sorted for recycling (paper, glass, tins/cans, plastics)
• Water saving is important to us. Therefore dripping tabs, running toilets etc are repaired instantly
• For new appliances energy efficiency is taken into consideration in the purchasing process
• Solar energy is going to be implemented for all electrical needs
